NOBAMA Bumper Sticker

The election didn't go my way. The political landscape in Bend, Oregon, which was once a conservative working town, has been transformed into a liberal urban commune.
Change was in the air with the numerous "Impeach Bush" bumper stickers and Obama yard signs and bumper stickers I saw popping up all over the place.
I decided to do my part and paid a visit to the Republican headquarters. I procured McCain/Palin yard signs and bumper stickers. I also grabbed a bright yellow and orange NOBAMA bumper sticker. I mean if all these liberal leaning people driving around in overpriced hybrids could advertise their support for Obama, it's only fair that I express my opinion. I realized pretty quickly that I was the only person in Bend with a NOBAMA bumper sticker or at least it seemed that way. I enjoy being different.
Alas, the election is over, my slighly faded NOBAMA sticker now adorns the wall in my shop and the yard signs are in the landfill but I still have my McCain/Palin bumper sticker on my car and I'll keep it there for the next 4 years. Never know, maybe an Obama presidency is just what we need to get back on track. I'll be pleasently surprised.
